Yvette Done

Gidget Ambassador

As an accomplished presenter, actress, voice artist, and model, Yvette Done’s longstanding career in entertainment, media, and fashion continues to challenge her with a diverse range of exciting roles.

Done is a regular TV presenter on health, beauty, and lifestyle segments for the Nine Network’s Today Extra. This role is a natural fit for the mother of three, who follows a consistent fitness and wellbeing regimen to support every aspect of her health.

A staunch advocate for exercise and its benefits for wellbeing and mental health, Done relishes her role as Ambassador for Gidget Foundation Australia, a national not-for-profit that shines a light on perinatal depression and anxiety, pathways to recovery, and women’s experiences. With her own lived experience of PNDA, Done brings empathy, candour, and understanding to her Ambassador role.

Throughout her career, the Sydney-based personality has made it her mission to make a difference. For 10 years, she was an Ambassador for the Australian youth-support network Reach Out, before spending a further eight years as an Ambassador for the Black Dog Institute.

Done effortlessly transfers her rapport with others, authenticity and zest for life onto the screen. Always passionate about the power of storytelling to touch lives, Done has featured in acclaimed Australian feature films and commercial drama series.

After establishing herself as a successful international model, Done landed the coveted role of VJ on global entertainment giant MTV. A versatile host of multiple high-rating programs for more than eight years, Done interviewed A-list celebrities including Matt Damon, Britney Spears, Foo Fighters, Kylie Minogue, Billy Idol, and Gwen Stefani, to name a few.

During her stint at MTV, Done explored another of her passions – acting. Done appeared in the critically acclaimed films Praise, alongside Joel Edgerton, and Garage Days, directed by Alex Proyas and co-starring Pia Miranda. Her acting also reached Australian TV audiences nationwide, with her cameo appearances in a variety of top-rating shows, including Wildside, Home and Away, and Water Rats.

Done continues to thrive within the entertainment and media industry, harnessing her wealth of experience to fearlessly raise the bar, personally and professionally. Currently developing a groundbreaking new podcast based on her original idea, Done welcomes other compelling opportunities that come her way.
