Sarah joined Gidget Foundation Australia in May 2021 as the Clinical Relations Executive. Sarah works with the clinical administration team and supports Gidget Foundation Australia’s Triage Program.
Sarah grew up on a property in a small farming community outside of Canberra, ACT. It was here Sarah studied Public Health before swapping bush for beaches when moving to Sydney in 2020. She counts herself lucky to have the best of both worlds.
Sarah has lived experience of perinatal depression and anxiety. Her experience drives her passion for helping parents navigate Gidget’s support services. It ignited an interest in mental health awareness and she feels very grateful to work in an organisation where she can combine this with theory learned during her studies.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys visiting her family property with her partner and her energetic five-year-old son Louis. They spend their days bush walking in the bordering Namadgi National Park, helping on the farm, and spoiling their horse Reggie and pet cow Ernie.
