Peni Bailey

Clinician Recruitment and Engagement Manager

Peni Bailey brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role as Clinician Recruitment & Engagement Manager at GFA. With the first two decades of her career spent in broadcasting across Hong Kong and the UK, Peni made a significant impact in the sporting sector. Her highlights include working on major events like the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and various prestigious tours in golf, tennis, and cricket.

Upon returning to Australia, Peni shifted her focus to health care, becoming the Clinical Practice Manager at GFA. She later excelled as the Program Manager for Gidget House and Start Talking, where she oversaw the successful establishment of new locations and managed comprehensive clinical recruitment efforts. Under her guidance, GFA has expanded from 40 to over 160 clinicians in just four years and has played a crucial role in establishing nearly all 32 Gidget Houses.

In her current role, Peni is dedicated to enhancing the recruitment, education, and professional development of GFA clinicians, driving engagement, and fostering growth within the clinician workforce. Peni’s passion for health and well-being, along with her experience in management and program development, contributes to her important role in the organisation’s mission to provide quality care.

Peni is the mother to 3 children who have now morphed into giants.  With only one child remaining at school, she relishes every last moment with her as she knows how quickly this important time passes.
