Michelle is a Counselling Psychologist with 20 years’ experience in community, education, and not-for-profit sectors. She works with children, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and across a range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, loss and grief, trauma, relationship difficulties and parenting concerns.
Michelle is passionate about supporting clients at those particularly challenging and vulnerable times, when they are navigating significant changes and life-stage transitions. With warmth, compassion, and respect, Michelle works collaboratively with clients and supports them to connect with their strengths as they work towards their goals. She draws from a range of evidence-based therapies when tailoring her approach, including CBT, ACT, Systemic and Family Therapy, Interpersonal Process, Narrative, and Trauma-informed approaches.
