Lisa has over 15 years’ experience in communications and stakeholder engagement, and most recently was an key member of the NSW Mental Health Commission’s stakeholder engagement, communications and policy teams.
Passionate about the value of lived experience Lisa coordinated cross-government and mental health sector codesign projects focused on lived experience, social and emotional wellbeing, and carers to influence mental health reform.
In her advocacy and policy role at Gidget Lisa is dedicated to maintaining our relationships with Government and the mental health, social services, and community sectors to reach and support our clients as early as possible in their PNDA experience.
Lisa feels privileged to work for Gidget, having friends and family that have experienced PNDA and with three young daughters of her own, Lisa wants to contribute so they and their partners have access to the right support where and when they need it, so they know they are not alone.
Outside of work Lisa loves supporting her local community, fundraising with CanToo and was a ballroom dancer in a former life. Lisa is hopeful to put on the shoes again for a spin around the dance floor.
