Liggia is an Accredited Mental Health Social Work Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working with individuals in a range of services including community health counselling, women-specific services, family violence, aged care, youth services and veteran service. She works in private practice in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Liggia is influenced by a range of therapeutic modalities in assisting clients primarily, she has an emotion focused approach that supports the mind and body connection. Liggia has a specific interest in grief and loss and how the body can carry the burden of bereavement and how pregnancy and the start of parenthood brings so many life changing challenges.

Liggia believes in giving individuals hope and she will provide a safe space that is respectful and confidential and where trust can develop at your pace.
