Lauren is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with an interest in the perinatal period and how life cycle changes impact individuals and families, highlighting both emerging problems and strengths. She utilises a variety of therapeutic approaches, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Currently, she is studying Bowen Family Systems Theory to enhance her understanding and skills in working with families as emotional units.

In addition to providing therapy for a wide range of mental health issues, Lauren enjoys supporting individuals as they investigate their family origins and equipping parents with the tools to lead and nurture their families. She employs parenting programs such as 'Tuning into Kids' and/or 'Teens' to support this work.

Outside of her professional activities, Lauren loves spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, playing football, walking her Golden Retriever, Ivy, and indulging in fantasy and historical fiction.
