Jess has an educational background in psychology and health, with the last 15 years working in the not for profit and corporate health sector, assisting a broad range of clients - from chronic disease to complex mental health, and cancer.
Her experiences in both not for profit and corporate health have built her perspective and skills in community development, volunteer management, service design and operations, and client experience. More recently, she has contributed to the design and delivery of digital mental health services - including online peer groups, peer-moderated forums, and tele-web coaching.
After having her second child, Jess has moved into project management, leading the implementation of special projects that fulfil an organisation’s future goals, and allowing her a more unified home and work life. Jess enjoys meaningful work – that connects with her values and interests - Gidget Foundation Australia has given her the opportunity to merge this alongside her career and parenting experience, to help create and deliver programs that build emotional wellbeing and resilience in parents and children.
