Hester is registered psychologist who is empathetic, kind and person-centred. She has a decade of experience working in NSW Health with a focus on supporting individuals to work through the difficulties that come with adjusting to life transitions.

Hester works collaboratively with her clients in a non-judgmental manner. She believes that her biggest role is to help guide and cheer people on as they navigate their own journeys through life's tricky moments.

Hester has a special interest in working with bereavement, loss and grief. Additionally, being born overseas but having grown up in Australia, she loves working with people from a variety of different cultures. Hester is fluent in conversational Chinese (Cantonese). She is also interested in the intersection between faith, spirituality and mental health.

Hester draws from a range of modalities such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Outside of work, Hester enjoys hanging out with her two young kids, singing, laughing at memes and doing cryptic crosswords (with the help of her husband).
