Erryn is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). In addition to Erryn’s work at Gidget Foundation Australia she works in private practice with mothers and families, works with young people and their parent/carers in community mental health, and provides supervision to students in the social work field.

Since becoming a mother and navigating the journey to motherhood, Erryn has developed a special interest and passion in Women’s Mental Health and in the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health space. Erryn has completed a range of training in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (Centre for Perinatal Psychology & COPE), Motherhood Studies, and Matrescence.

Erryn provides a compassionate, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment where parents feel safe and empowered to explore their experiences. Erryn’s practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Erryn tailors support to the specific individual she is working with, around this she uses an eclectic mix of evidence-based interventions including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Erryn is a certified facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting Program and incorporates attachment and relational lens to support secure attachment and relationships.
