Dr Erin Seeto is a Clinical Psychologist, based in Sydney, and has worked in various settings including hospitals, community, government, education, specialist services and private practice across the UK and Australia.
After considerable perinatal training, Erin was motivated to continue this work on a permanent basis and her career with Gidget Foundation Australia (GFA) commenced in 2019 as a clinician. Since then, Erin has held positions as a Workforce Development Supervisor and Clinical Team Leader supporting the dynamic and diverse needs of clinicians across multiple programs nationally. Erin is a current Board Approved Supervisor (PsychBA) and has extensive experience up-skilling multidisciplinary health professionals in mental health. Erin holds positions within the APS National Committee of Counselling Psychologists and is a member of various advisory committees with a focus on women’s mental health. In addition, she is a member of the GFA First Nations Committee. With this experience, Erin sees the importance of increasing awareness and challenging barriers for all women and families to thrive.
In her current role as Clinical Services Manager, Erin’s main focus is on the development and outstanding delivery of clinical services. Erin also supports clinical professional development, training, education and advocacy in perinatal mental health.
