Deana is an accredited mental health social worker with post graduate qualifications in mental health practice. She has been working in various mental health roles for over 20 years, and is comfortable working with many different presentations. Her specialist skills include supporting new parents, trauma, eating disorders and suicide prevention.

Deana takes a strengths based approach to her work and brings her values of empathy, compassion and non-judgement to her interactions with clients. Using a person centred framework, she prioritises collaboration and  utilises an eclectic mix of evidence based therapies inclusive of Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. She enjoys working to strengthen bonds between parent and child and is a certified infant massage instructor.
