Brigid Glanville is the ABC’s NSW Political Reporter for television, radio and online.
Brigid covers a range of political, economic and social issues that affect NSW. As well as reporting for a range of programs, Brigid also presents on the ABC News Channel.
Brigid has worked overseas in the ABC’s Washington Bureau, where she covered the Anthrax attacks post terrorism attacks of 9/11 and in 2011 worked in the ABC’s New Zealand bureau covering the Pacific region. This also included covering the Pike River Mine disaster in NZ and the Christchurch earthquake.
Brigid is a mother to 5 year old Lola and 3 year old Clementine. She is also a stepmother to 15 year old Nicolas and 11 year old Luke.
Brigid suffered from perinatal depression with her first child and from postnatal depression after the birth of her second child.
Brigid’s battle with perinatal depression was published in the Sun Herald Sydney newspaper, April 15 2018.
