Gidget Foundation Australia founders finalists in 2024 Suicide Prevention Australia Life Awards

We are thrilled to share that our remarkable founders are finalists in the Suicide Prevention Australia Life Awards. They emerged as winners in the New South Wales round, and the final round will be held at the Suicide Prevention Australia Conference in Adelaide in May.

The Life Awards celebrate the vital efforts of individuals and organisations across Australia working to prevent suicide and support those in need. Our founders were among the early pioneers, raising awareness within the community and among healthcare professionals about the impacts, early warning signs and support mechanisms for perinatal mental health issues - a subject that, at the time, was little understood.  

Continuing their unwavering commitment, our founders continue to lead Gidget Foundation Australia with passion, steering its strategic direction and spearheading our fundraising initiatives. We are honoured to be included in such an inspiring group of organisations and individuals delivering essential services and making a significant impact!
